Halosource announced the promotion of Lisa Wakida to General Counsel and Secretary for the company. Wakida was previously General Counsel and Secretary to Vice President.

"We are so fortunate to have such a talented and hard-working member of our Leadership Team," said HaloSource CEO Martin Coles. "The value of her contributions far exceeds the scope of her role. Lisa puts 100 percent into everything she does and this recognition is well-deserved."

Wakida joined HaloSource in September 2011. She is responsible for overseeing all legal and regulatory matters for the company.

Prior to joining HaloSource Wakida worked for both Concur Technologies and RadioFrame Networks. She spent much of her early career with several very well regarded law firms in Seattle and Chicago, including Wilson Sonsini Goodrich and Rosati and Skadden Arps Slate Meagher and Flom.

Wakida received a BBA with a concentration in Accounting from the University of Washington and a J.D. from the University of Chicago.
