Molina Healthcare of Washington names Robinson chief medical officer

Molina Healthcare of Washington, located in Bothell, recently announced that John Robinson, M.D., has been promoted from medical director to chief medical officer of its health plan, a subsidiary Molina Healthcare, Inc. In his new role, Robinson will be responsible for oversight of the Integrated Health Services, Quality Improvement, Credentialing and Pharmacy functions of the health plan.
“Dr. Robinson’s health-care industry experience will be a great asset to our Washington team,” said Glen Bogner, president of Molina Healthcare of Washington. “We look forward to his contributions and his commitment to delivering quality health-care services.”
Robinson is a board-certified family practice physician and has more than 26 years of medical experience and previously served as Molina’s medical director.
Molina Healthcare of Washington has approximately 327,000 members enrolled in its health plan and serves members throughout the state of Washington.
