Career Week 2011, the University of Washington’s 12th annual career education and exploration extravaganza for students and alumni, will be held the week of Jan. 24-28.

The week of events will conclude with UW-Bothell’s transfer fair from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Jan. 28 in the North Creek Events Center.

The Career Week educational and networking sessions on UW’s Bothell campus will be free and open to the public. Panel discussions will feature working professionals and alumni in the areas of social and human services, health-care careers, business, computer science and more. Additional presentations will be held on graduate school, financing graduate studies, study abroad, networking and mentors in the workplace.

The University of Washington’s Career Week, which began as a grassroots effort by a small group of academic advisers on the Seattle campus, is a university-wide event. UW-Bothell has participated in the Career Week for nine years. To see the complete listing of events, visit UW-Bothell's Web site.
