UW-Bothell names Hayes new communications officer

The University of Washington, Bothell has announced Bill D. Hayes as its new associate director of advancement communications.
Hayes joins UW-Bothell after a successful career at the Experience Music Project and Science Fiction Museum, where he was the director of marketing and business development. He has also worked as the director of sales for Seattle’s Museum of Flight.
As the associate director of advancement communications, Hayes will be responsible for identifying, cultivating and soliciting major prospects for gifts in support of UW-Bothell.
Hayes has earned a master of arts in international and Chinese studies, a master of business administration, a bachelor of arts in communication and a bachelor of arts in sociology, all from the University of Washington.
