'CPR Saturday' is on tap June 30 in Lynnwood

The Snohomish County Red Cross will host "CPR Saturday" on June 30 at the Lynnwood Convention Center, 3711 196th St. S.W.

Free CPR and AED (automatic external defibrillator) training will take place for adults at 8 a.m. and 9 a.m. There will be a class in Spanish at 10 a.m. All classes last 2 1/2 hours.

Registration and approval is required for certification training: To register, call (425) 740-2344 or e-mail cprsaturday@snohomishcounty.redcross.org.

Free citizen CPR — compression only — 30-minute classes will start at 8:30 a.m., 9:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. for people ages 11 and up.
