The race, also known as the Northshore District Elementary School Cross Country Invitational, is for NSD elementary students in grades K-6.

Times for the races are: 400 meter kindergarten race - 5 p.m., 400 meter first-grade race - 5:15 p.m., 800 meter second-grade race - 5:30 p.m., 800 meter third-grade race - 5:45 p.m., 800 meter fourth-grade race - 5:55 p.m., 1,200 meter fifth-grade race - 6:05 p.m. and 1,200 meter sixth-grade race - 6:15.

Instead of an entry fee, families are encouraged to donate a non-perishable food item that will be sent to Hopelink.

Arrive early for the race as they may be ahead of schedule.

Because of potential parking issues, organizers are encouraging people to carpool to the event.
