Whidbey to perform in CWU's production of The Tempest

Jordan-Michael Whidbey, a 2010 graduate of Cedar Park Christian School in Bothell, will play the part of Reaper in Central Washington University's Central Theatre Ensemble production of The Tempest.

The Tempest will be performed Nov. 8, 9, 10, 15, 16, and 17 with a preshow beginning at 7:15 p.m. and curtain at 7:30 p.m. at McConnell Auditorium on the campus of CWU.

There will be a matinee performance with a preshow beginning at 1:45 p.m. and curtain at 2 p.m. on Nov. 18.

Tickets are $12 general admission, $10 for seniors/students, and $7 for CWU students with ID. Tickets can be purchased online at

Whidbey is a junior at CWU, pursuing a Bachelor of Fine Arts-Performance degree.

His parents are Michael and Jana Whidbey of Bothell.
