Free AARP tax preparations for Northshore area seniors

AARP Tax-Aide will provide free tax preparation at the Bothell Library on Fridays this year from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. from Feb. 1 through April 12.

Returns are prepared and e-filed by trained AARP Tax-Aide Volunteers.

Interested tax payers can call the Northshore Senior Center at 425-486-4564 for more information and to make an appointment.

Some walk-ins are welcome on first-come, first-served basis. Last year the Bothell site served more than 600 local residents. Due to staffing issues

the program has had to cut back the number of days the program is offered from 2012 levels.
