Volunteer, tutors and mentors needed at the Center for Human Services

March 13, 2013 · 11:38 AM

The Center for Human Services is seeking volunteers, tutors and mentors to help provide academic and social-emotional support to children ages 6-18 years of age through its after-school programs at Ballinger Homes Apartments, and at Green Leaf Apartments, in Kenmore.

Both locations are in low income housing complexes of the King County Housing Authority.

Volunteers are needed to support and mentor these youth.

These are rewarding volunteer opportunities in that they promote academic success and positive self-esteem in economically disadvantaged children and youth.

For more information call Amber at 425-405-2004.
