Bothell High School FBLA wins second place in the nation
Bothell High School FBLA won second place in the nation for the highest charitable contribution to the March of Dimes Organization at the National Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) conference.
This award follows a fifth place national award in 2012, a fourth place award in 2011, as well as the highest donation to any charity at the state conference this April.
Led by co-advisors Lori and Terry Ley as well as President Megan McShane, fundraisers such as Race for the Bunny Suit, Jazz for Babies, and March for Babies are put on by the Bothell High School FBLA to help support the March of Dimes.
The $8,160 donation this year puts Bothell FBLA’s six year March of Dimes donation at $35,437.
In the future, the Bothell High School FBLA hopes to make it a community event involving feeder elementary schools, junior high schools, Bothell High School, and businesses in the community to eventually win first place in the nation.
