Inglemoor students compete at state FLBA championships

Inglemoor High School had 44 students compete at the Future Business Leaders of America State Championships, with 21 scoring in the top five.

Those students finishing in the top five will travel to Nashville, Tenn. to compete in the National Championships from June 29 to July 2.

"I had such an exceptional group of students and want to thank their parents, teachers and community members for supporting them towards these achievements," FBLA adviser Jan Fitzgerald said.

The following are the results for all 21 Inglemoor students:

First place

• Gokul Gowri in Health Care Administration

• Kay Kim in Networking Concepts

• Nisha Pradhan in Public Speaking I (Pradhan earned a $350 scholarship for Nationals)

Second place

• Julia Bauman in Business Ethics

• Ryan Bauman in Business Ethics

• Dilshawn Gamage in Business Plan

• Tim Kim in Business Plan

• Gary Wang in both Business Plan and Insurance and Risk Management

• Jenny Nayoung Chung in Emerging Business Issues

• Joseph Tsai in Emerging Business Issues

• Nisha Pradhan in FBLA Principles and Procedures

• Kaitlyn Zhou in Public Speaking II

Third place

• Ashley Gilbert in Business Presentation

• Kiran Pradhan in Business Presentation

• Bill Zhao in Business Presentation

Fourth place

• Mannat Sukhija in Business Math

• Xin Yi Chen in Creed

• Tim Kim in Entrepreneurship

• Gary Wang in Entrepreneurship

Fifth place

• Xin Yi Chen in Network Design

• Amy Shah in Network Design
