Cedar Park grad to attend Naval Academy

Cedar Park Christian High School Senior Benjamin Anderson has accepted an appointment to the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis, Md.

He received Rep. Suzan Del Bene's nomination from the 1st Congressional District.

Anderson's notable achievements at Cedar Park included ASB president, Honor Society president, captain of the varsity football team, captain of the varsity basketball team and top scholastic honors with a 3.98 GPA.

The public ceremony to honor Anderson will be June 3 at at 10 a.m. at Cedar Park. Graduation for the CPCS Bothell class of 2014 will be on Saturday, June 7 at 7 p.m.
