Leadership Eastside announces new board of directors

The board for Leadership Eastside approved a new slate of officers and directors at its June board meeting.
They include: Chair Betty Spieth (Langton Spieth), Chair-Elect Drew Magill (The Boeing Co.), Immediate Past Chair Jennifer Davies (Symetra Financial), Vice-Chair Curriculum/Programs Eric Svaren (Groupsmith, Inc.), Vice Chair Year Two/Three Programs Kathy Hunter (Seattle Times), Vice-Chair Finance Mike DePuydt (Senderra Corp.), Vice-Chair Marketing Ed Belleba (Friends of Youth) and Vice-Chair Alumni Jeni Craswell (WesTech).
The board also elected five new members, bringing the total board to 22. The new members are: Tony Gee (Microsoft Corp.), Stuart Linscott (Charter Bank), Mike Nesteroff (Lane Powell) and Tami Ware (Microsoft Corp.). The board also elected Ben Langhans as a board fellow.
Leadership Eastside’s three-year program includes an intensive first-year curriculum designed around six core community leader capabilities that are explored through a focus on real issues facing the Eastside. Years Two and Three provide customized support that matches class members’ passion and availability through mentoring opportunities and more.
