Kenmore resident earns scholarship from WWU

Western Washington University student Natalie Elaine Johnson, daughter of Anita and Mark Johnson of Kenmore, has accepted a $1,000 Settlemyre Scholarship in Fine and Performing Arts for the 2014-2015 academic year.

Johnson graduated from Inglemoor High School in 2012 and is expected to graduate from Western in 2016 with a bachelor’s degree in Vocal Performance with a minor in Psychology. She has professional goals to do opera performance and music therapy with an emphasis on patients with special needs.
