Kirkland Choral Society, the Eastside's largest adult mixed choir, is seeking experienced singers in all voice ranges.

Auditions include sight-singing, rhythm exercise and range check. No prepared piece required.

The expectations during the year are: regular attendance at weekly Wednesday evening rehearsals; participation in all concerts scheduled throughout the season; regular at-home practice to woodshed notes and come prepared to rehearsals (practice recordings provided); and quarterly donations to help sustain the choir.

Kirkland Choral Society now boasts a diverse membership of nearly 100 talented voices and is considered by many arts patrons to be the Eastside’s premier community chorale. Members are selected through audition and hail from all over the greater Seattle area. KCS performs selections from the full range of choral repertoire and is committed to creating a quality experience not only for our audiences but also for our singers, providing opportunities to socialize and enjoy the process of creating music together. With the support of our volunteers, financial partners and our enthusiastic audiences, Kirkland Choral Society is living out its mission to share the joy of music with the greater Seattle community.
