The Northshore Fire Department is offering a Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) academy, a comprehensive hazard preparedness course open to the public. Participants will gather for seven Thursdays, 6-9 p.m. beginning April 16 and ending May 28. Classes are held at the Kenmore Fire Station, 18030 73rd Ave. N.E. in Kenmore. Class size is limited.

CAREER FAIRS

The University of Washington, Bothell hosts two spring career fairs in April and is currently seeking applications from employer participants.

The fairs are slated for 3-6 p.m. April 21 and 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. April 22 at the UW-Bothell campus, 18115 Campus Way N.E. in Bothell.

Employer participant applications are currently being accepted online. For additional information, send an e-mail to echristian@uwb.edu.
