Bothell park-planning meeting set for July 9
July 6, 2009 · Updated 6:19 PM
The city of Bothell invites citizens to be involved in planning the future of the Park at Bothell Landing.
Two public meetings already have been held this spring, giving a chance for local leaders to determine what residents want to see incorporated into the park. The master-planning process is scheduled to be completed this fall, though that deadline is subject to change.
A third session on the park now is planned for 7 p.m. July 9 at Bothell Municipal Court, 10116 N.E. 183rd St. Plan consultants J.A. Brennan & Associates will present its draft master plan to the city’s Parks & Recreation Board. A copy of the draft plan can be viewed at www.ci.bothell.wa.us under Downtown Revitalization/Projects/Master Planning for Park at Bothell Landing.
The Parks and Recreation Board will accept public comment on the plan at the July 9 meeting. Residents also can submit comments to downtownplan@ci.bothell.wa.us.
