Northshore Senior Center donates $1,000 to Cle Elum counterpart

The Northshore Senior Center Board voted Aug. 10 to grant the Cle Elum Senior Center $1,000 in emergency funds to be used as needed. The Cle Elum Senior Center was destroyed in a fire Aug. 1. Senior Center Executive Director Lee Harper and her colleagues thank the Washington State Association of Senior Centers for their leadership and inspiring senior centers around the state to step forward and help out. The Northshore Senior Center Board agreed even though times are tough for everyone right now, it’s critical to support each other in times of disaster.
