On Oct. 5, Skagit Valley College welcomed the University of Washington, Bothell’s nursing program to its new location in Laura Angst Hall on the Mount Vernon Campus. Now in its fourth year, the partnership allows students to complete their bachelor of science in nursing degree at Skagit Valley with UW-Bothell professors who teach on-site in Mount Vernon. As of December 2009, more than 50 nurses will have completed their bachelor’s degrees through this

UW-Bothell Northern Counties outreach.
