12th annual Kenmore Art Show entries due Aug. 13

The 12th Annual Juried Kenmore Art Show is Aug. 20-29. But the call is out now for entries due by Aug. 13.

Artists may enter up to three times in each of categories, each with its prizes for first, second and third place winners.

Categories include: paintings, drawings and other two-dimensional artwork; photography; sculpture; artisan works; and, Best of Show. A "purchase award" carries a total award of $1,000, donated by the city of Kenmore and the Kenmore Art Show and may be awarded to one or more artists whose work is purchased by the city.

Other special awards include the Mayor's Award and the People's Choice Award.

The show is scheduled to be held at the Northlake Lutheran Church, 6620 N.E. 185th St., Kenmore.
