March 15

Theft

Someone made off with a spool of wiring from an unidentified business in the 2300 block of 228th Street Southeast. The item was valued at $400. The wiring apparently had been in a vehicle at the location.

March 11

Theft from vehicle

A briefcase valued at $250 was taken from a car parked in the 22600 block of State Route 527. The thief shattered a window to gain entry to the vehicle.

March 10

Attempted burglary

Described only as a male wearing dark clothes, the suspect tried to gain entry through a window into a residence in the 19700 block of Hollyhills Drive Northeast. According to police, the occupant spotted the suspect and chased him away. There was no damage done to the residence and nothing was reported stolen.

KENMORE

March 16

Residential burglary

Persons unknown broke a window to gain entry into a home in the 6600 block of Northeast Arrowhead. They left with jewelry, the value of which was not readily available.

March 14

Residential burglary

A gun, jewelry, a large-screen TV and some credit cards all were missing after someone kicked in the front door of a home in the 8600 block of Northeast 169th Street. Police said the credit cards later were used to purchase gas and also to pay for items at a Target in Bellevue.

Theft from vehicle

A GPS was stolen after someone broke out a window in a car parked in the 1500 block of 81st Avenue Northeast.

March 12

Attempted burglary

Police say someone used a hammer or some type of heavy object in an attempt to break the handle on the door of a home in the 7000 block of Northeast 182nd. No entry was gained.
