Change at the helm: Bothell Mayor Mark Lamb to steer Snohomish County's Health Board
June 3, 2010 · Updated 2:06 PM
The Board of Health for Snohomish County changed leaders effective May 29 at the resignation of Sultan Councilman Jim Flower, board chairman since 2009. Vice-chair and Bothell Mayor Mark Lamb moved into the chairman position when Flower announced his decision to the board. Lamb will preside for the remainder of 2010; a new vice-chair will be selected at a future board meeting.
Representing the city of Bothell at the Health Board table since 2006, Lamb has served on Bothell's city council for six-and-a-half years and was elected mayor in 2006. Lamb is the owner and founder of The North Creek Law Firm, a practice that represents organizations and individuals in business, real estate, public policy and regulatory matters.
