Inglemoor HIgh to present 'Legally Blonde, the Musical' in May

Inglemoor High School Performing Arts will present "Legally Blonde, the Musical," lyrics and music by Laurence O'Keefe and Nell Benjamin, in May.

Performances will take place at 7 p.m. May 11-12 and May 17-18 and 1 p.m. May 19 at the Northshore Performing Arts Center on the Bothell High campus at 18125 92nd Ave. N.E.,

This musical has been newly released for amateur production, and is based on the novel "Legally Blonde" by Amanda Brown and the 2001 film of the same name. It received a Laurence Olivier Award for Best New Musical and was nominated for seven Tony awards.

It is directed by Inglemoor drama teacher Gretchen Stewart with musical direction by Teresa Sullivan.

Tickets will also be available at the door — $15 for adults and students without ASB; $10 for students with ASB, seniors, military and children (parental discretion advised).
