The Kirkland Choral Society will host the start of its 25th anniversary season at 7:30 p.m. on Dec. 6-7 with the "Welcome All Wonders" performance. The silver anniversary season will be celebrated with favorite traditional carols as well as works by prominent contemporary composers Stephen Paulus, Ola Gjeilo and Kirke Mechem, accompanied by handbells, oboe, harp, and strings.

The choral group will perform on the Kenmore and Kirkland boundary at the Bastyr University Chapel on Dec. 6 and at the First United Methodist Church on Dec. 7.

Tickets for both events cost $20 for adults and $15 for seniors and students.
