Providence Classical Christian School of Lynnwood will present a production of Roald Dahl's Willy Wonka on March 13-15 at Kenmore Community Church in Bothell.

Willy Wonka the musical is based on the children's classic Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, by Roald Dahl. It tells the tale of a mysterious candy maker who holds a contest to find just the right child to run his candy empire when he retires. Five children win the coveted golden tickets and tour his factory. Through a series of comical missteps and bad decision making by the children, Wonka is left with one final winner. This is a wonderful family musical with familiar songs like "The Candyman," "Pure Imagination" and "I Want it Now."

Willy Wonka stars Russell Hatcher in the title role and John Baron as Charlie Bucket. It is directed by Robin Hilt, with costumes by Melinda Schlimmer.

It runs March 13-15 at 7 p.m., with a matinee on March 15 at 1 p.m. Tickets are $8 for general admission and $5 for students. Please visit www.pccs.org to purchase tickets.

The Kenmore Community Church is located at 7504 Bothell Way NE.
