Inglemoor coach to be honored at awards banquet

Kelly Richards of Inglemoor High School in Kenmore has been named a finalist for the Inspiring Coaches Awards Banquet on Aug. 5.

There are 25 finalists for this national award at the EMP in Seattle. Richards was nominated for her ability to inspire her teams through positive recognition, such as starting each practice with a recap of her runners’ latest achievements, according to a Brooke's Running spokesperson.

As a finalist, she’ll receive $5,000 in Brooks gear and $500 cash for team expenses for her Inglemoor Vikings.
