Excellent idea, Catherine | Letter

Excellent idea for reporter Catherine Krummey to remind us to support our local papers as her parting wisdom. (“Support quality journalism” Bothell-Kenmore Reporter, July 5) Thanks, Catherine for your work to make the Reporter among the best in the state. Your good spread of news covers local concerns like highlighting great students, state politics like legislative district happenings and connections to the national scene, like covering Congresswoman DelBene’s town halls and visits locally to such places as the Northshore Senior Center, emphasizing she was there to listen.

Welcome new editor Samantha Pak, you have a wonderful paper to take to new heights. This is a supportive community, ready to be a part of the job of creating “quality journalism.”

Willie Dickerson,

Snohomish
