Turlock letters dishonest on Gorc record | Letter

Both Robert and Debra Turlock have now both penned dishonest letters to the editor about Roz Gorc. Ms. Turlock states that she affirmed “her support for his purchase and development of the back nine of the Wayne Golf Course."

Both Robert and Debra Turlock have now both penned dishonest letters to the editor about Roz Gorc. Ms. Turlock states that she affirmed “her support for his purchase and development of the back nine of the Wayne Golf Course.” This is completely false, and the fact that the Turlock’s are wise enough to not include this misstatement in quotes does not make it any less misleading. Ms. Gorc spoke in support of the rule of law and in favor of allowing the independent investigator to complete his work. She said nothing in favor of purchase or development of the Back Nine, any suggestion to the contrary is false. In fact, Gorc has said repeatedly she favors the preservation of the Back Nine.

The rest of the Turlocks propaganda for incumbent Andy Rheaume is more of the same spin. Even Rheaume himself admits he not only didn’t inform the public of the chance to buy Wayne, he didn’t even argue to save Wayne when he was completely free to do so in an executive session. Andy Rheaume sat quietly while Wayne was dealt away; this has nothing to do with laws governing executive session and everything to do with an ineffective incumbent who didn’t even speak behind closed doors to protect what he claims to care about. Rheaume still has not come up with any financing plan for the City to buy the Back or Front Nine of the Wayne Golf Course. Rheaume has no plan to save Wayne and no track record that can be trusted on the issue.
