Bothell police’s Kerzman recognized as a top performer in state distracted driving campaign

The Washington Traffic Safety Commission (WTSC) recently recognized Sgt. Steve Kerzman with the Bothell Police Department as one of the top performers for Region 10’s 2017 Distracted Driving Campaign.

Recognizing that distracted driving — particularly texting while driving — is one of the largest contributing circumstances for car crashes in the state, the WTSC sponsored a campaign in April to encourage the enforcement of distracted driving laws.

Kerzman was recognized for his education and enforcement efforts during this campaign.
