Students from Evergreen Academy Preschools in Bothell and Kirkland, Evergreen Academy Elementary School in Bothell and Lake Forest Park Montessori donated more than 200 gifts to local nonprofit Childhaven.

The schools hosted giving trees, where students and families purchased items listed on selected tags for children in need during the holidays. Kindergarten students from Evergreen Academy Elementary School helped load vehicles for delivery, and fifth grade students helped deliver the items to the organization.

Childhaven is a nonprofit organization that provides healing care to abused, neglected and chemically affected babies, toddlers and preschoolers. The organization also works with parents to help them learn how to care for and nurture their children and to manage their behavior positively and consistently.
