Kumon of Kenmore celebrates 10 years in community

The celebration event is set for Saturday at the Columbia Tower Club in Seattle.

Kumon of Kenmore will celebrate its 10th anniversary at its upcoming award ceremony on Saturday.

The event begins at 2 p.m. and will be held at the Columbia Tower Club on the 76th floor of the Columbia Tower, 701 Fifth Ave. in Seattle.

Washington State Sen. Bob Hasegawa will be in attendance to to give a very brief speech.

In addition, former Kumon students — who are now in college — as well as current students and parents will be at the event for a panel discussion to share their Kumon experience.

Throughout the last 10 years, Kumon has served thousands of students in community to help them become successful in their academics, inside and outside of class.

In addition to succeeding academically, the students have also a resource for their peers for academic help in school, according to a press release.
