TSUGA Fine Art and Framing in Bothell has changed the date for its public reception on its new group show: Americana. The show has been moved to from 5-8 p.m. on June 24, so not to interfere with the Vintage Bothell Wine Walk on June 25.

The show includes 22 pieces by 15 local artists and celebrates the spirit of Americana and Independence Day.

Just like the melting pot that makes America great, this exhibition features a little something for everyone. Old school to new school, media range from vibrant sweeping abstract paintings to crystal clear photographs of American life. Patrons will witness sweeping arrays of bold color as well as strong, silent monochromes.

This exhibit is juried by local watercolor master Kathy Collins. She is recognized as a signature member of the Northwest and Montana Watercolor Societies, Women Painters of Washington, and has been featured in numerous artistic publications over the years. Admired by her peers, Collins continues to grow and evolve – currently exhibiting new works that adapt her trademark impressionistic vistas into lively, rhythmic collage.
