Bothell’s first wine-tasting room now open

July 10, 2012 · Updated 11:36 AM

Bothell’s only tasting room, The Mercantile Wine & Goods, is now open in the heart of Country Village.

The Mercantile features award-winning wines from four local boutique wineries: Open Road Wine Company, Cedar River Cellars, Alia Wines and Grace Cellars, paired with gourmet snacks from O’Pair Wine Bites. Tasting flights are offered, as well as wines by the glass and bottle, and a selection of locally produced goods for the kitchen and home. With a rotating staff of local winemakers, visitors can hear the whole story of each wine, from grape to bottle.

The Mercantile is open from 4-9 p.m. Fridays, noon to 7 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays and by appointment. The space is also available for private events. Tasting flights are $5 each, refundable with the purchase of a bottle. The Mercantile is located at 23732 Bothell-Everett Highway, Suite B, Bothell.
