Chilly winter days call for satisfying soups the whole family will love.
Learn the secrets to creating nutrient-packed, vitamin-rich soups using fresh, local ingredients and easy-to-grow vegetables, herbs and spices with Bastyr University's Kelly Morrow at Molbak’s on Saturday, Jan. 5, 12-1 p.m.
Morrow is a registered dietitian and faculty member in the Department of Nutrition at Bastyr University in Kenmore. She is also a clinical supervisor at Bastyr Center for Natural Health.
The soups are all vegetarian, gluten-free and dairy-free with recipes provided.
