Washington State High School Photography exhibit now at Kenmore Camera

The 2014 Washington State High School Photography exhibit is now featured at the new Kenmore Camera store located at 6708 NE 181st Street in Kenmore. The exhibit will be featured at Kenmore Camera through Aug. 24.

The final thirty-six photographs in this traveling exhibit were selected from 4,100 entries submitted by high school students of Washington State. Seventy high schools competed in the event. The exhibit includes three photographs from students attending Bothell High School and Woodinville High School. Judging took place on May 3 at Inglemoor High School. Judges included photographers Catherine Abegg, Mel Curtis and Mike Wewer.
This event is designed to provide a prestigious public platform for student photographic art.
The traveling exhibit will be featured at the Tacoma Art Museum in September, and the Seattle Art Museum in December. The final exhibit may be viewed on-line at www.kcamera.com.
Sponsors include Kenmore Camera, Museum Quality Framing, Canon, Jones Soda, Photographic Center Northwest and Key Bank.
