Up, up and away: Centenarian takes off on seaplane ride

Mildred Mandeville, who turned 100 years old June 20, enjoyed a 30-minute complimentary Kenmore Air birthday flight June 22 with her daughter, two grandsons, nurse and others. The Woodinville resident flew seaplanes rented from Kenmore Air in the late 1940s. She last flew in a seaplane in 1951.
