Kenmore’s annual Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony to brighten up City Hall on Thursday

Residents can sleigh their way to the annual city of Kenmore Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony from 6-7 p.m. Dec. 2 at City Hall, 18120 68th Ave. N.E. The free community event will feature local choirs, children's photos with Santa Claus, holiday arts and crafts projects and refreshments. Help count down the lighting of the tree with Santa Claus at 6:05 p.m.

Parking is available on-site and across the street at the old Northshore Park & Ride.

Participants are encouraged to bring nonperishable food items to support the Hopelink food bank serving Northshore and Kirkland residents.

Event sponsors are Kenmore Self Storage, See’s Trees, Grocery Outlet, Ostroms Drug & Gift and Kenmore Camera.
