Bothell road still closed after trees knocked down power lines
January 27, 2012 · 11:56 AM
According to the city of Bothell Web site, 108th Avenue Northeast/112th Place Northeast between East Riverside Drive and Northeast 164th Place is still closed and will likely be closed for another week.
Two trees fell at different times during last week's snow and wind, knocking down power lines. The power lines have been restored, however, trees damaged during the storms continue to pose a risk to the safety of drivers in that area. City crews are working with crews from Puget Sound Energy to assess the situation and find a solution so that the road can be reopened.
