Snohomish Fire District 1 board approves resolution opposing Bothell annexation

The Snohomish County Fire District 1 Board of Commissioners approved a resolution opposing the city of Bothell's annexation proposal that will appear on the April 17 ballot, according to a fire-district press release.

After hearing from citizens at a special board meeting last night, the board voted 3-0 to adopt the resolution. Fire District 1 provides fire and emergency medical service to residents in the Hilltop, Locust and Filbert neighborhoods in the northwest portion of the proposed annexation area.
