To enable utility crews to connect King County’s Swamp Creek Interceptor with the new Brightwater conveyance pipelines, traffic revisions will be in effect from July 16-20 along 73rd Avenue Northeast in Kenmore.

Construction will occur in the intersection of 73rd Avenue Northeast and Northeast 192nd Street.

While work is underway, westbound motorists on Northeast 192nd Street will be unable to turn left onto 73rd Avenue Northeast. Southbound motorists on 73rd Avenue Northeast will be unable to turn left onto Northeast 192nd Street.

Signage, cones and barriers will direct traffic around the work area.

The newly connected pipelines are scheduled to begin operating in September, conveying wastewater from homes and businesses in south Snohomish County to the Brightwater Treatment Plant.

Additional information is also available on the project website at www.kingcounty.gov/brightwater or by calling the construction hotline at (206) 205-5989.
