Legends to tee off at Swing for the Cure at Inglewood Golf Course

Ladies Professional Golf Association legends Nancy Lopez, JoAnne Carner, Patty Sheehan, Pat Bradley and Amy Alcott will compete against each other in a benefit to fight breast cancer at 9 a.m. this Sunday at Inglewood Golf Club in Kenmore.

All proceeds from the Legends Swing for the Cure Golf Tournament will go to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure Puget Sound organization. Seventy-five percent of the net funds raised will help provide mammograms, treatment support and education for local women. Twenty-five percent of the net funds will go directly to global research to find a cure for breast cancer.

Tickets are $20 each at www.thelegendstour.com.

No onsite parking; free shuttles will be provided at Inglemoor High and Arrowhead Elementary.
