Oregon State Police have released the names of a Korean couple with ties to Bothell, who died in a bus crash on Interstate 84 near Pendleton last weekend.

Oun Hong Jung, 67, and his wife, Joong Wha Kim, 63 were visiting family in Bothell when they took the tour bus to Las Vegas. Both were killed when the tour bus they were riding on lost control on the icy highway in Eastern Oregon.

The couple was visiting from South Korea.

Many on the bus were from Washington state.

The tour bus, out of Vancouver, Canada, is operated by Mi Joo Tour and Travel of British Columbia and was returning from Nevada at the time of the crash.

It rolled nearly 100 feet down a hill after the bus driver lost control and crashed through a guard rail.

Nine people were killed in the crash and 38 others were injured.
