Rod Dembowski took the oath of office as the King County Council's 1st District representative today. Dembowski was appointed to the seat on Feb. 11 after Bob Ferguson was elected Washington State Attorney General.

King County Superior Court Judge Sean O'Donnell, a classmate of Dembowski at Georgetown University, gave him the oath today at the King County Court House in downtown Seattle.

Dembowski was joined by his sons Evan and Camden.
