Law enforcement to increase DUI patrols this weekend

March 14, 2013 · 10:49 AM

"Don't drink and drive for St. Patrick's Day - we will catch you." That is the message from local police, the State Patrol and the King County and Snohomish County Sheriff's Offices.

With St. Patrick's Day this Sunday, extra DUI patrols will take place all weekend.

State Liquor Control Board employees will also be out visiting local bars and taverns to educate people about the DUI patrols and serving only to customers 21 and older.

They will also distribute "Click 2 Ride" cards with information about local taxi services.
