Kenmore Heritage Society seeks nominations for 2014 McMaster Award
The McMaster Heritage Award, now in its 13th year, honors a local citizen who, through volunteerism and service over a period of time, has made a significant positive difference in the Kenmore community. Established in 2002 by the Kenmore Heritage Society, the award bears the name of John McMaster, the man who named Kenmore on Jan. 10, 1901.
Local service clubs, PTAs, businesses, organizations and private individuals are encouraged to submit nominations for this prestigious annual award. Final selection will be made by the KHS Board of Trustees and will be based solely upon qualifications of the nominee regardless of the number of nominations received.
The award will be presented as part of the Kenmore Founder’s Day celebration to be held Feb. 5. Nominations must be submitted to the KHS Board of Trustees on or before Dec. 1.
