Republic Services garbage collection still running, weather could cause delays

Republic Services customers who would normally have their garbage, yard waste and/or recycling collected today should put their containers out as usual. This includes the cities of Bellevue, Mercer Island, Medina, Kenmore, Lake Forest Park, Sammamish, Kent, Covington, SeaTac and unincorporated areas of King County.

In the event containers are not collected today, please bring them back in and then put them back out on Saturday, Dec. 28, with up to double the allowed amount.

Due to snow and ice, Republic Services will not collect garbage, yard waste and recycling in the cities of Lake Stevens, Lynnwood, Edmonds, Anacortes and unincorporated Snohomish County. These customers should pull their containers in today and put them back out tomorrow for collection.
