Bothell man shot near Highway 2, Sheriff's Office seeks more information

A passerby found a man with a gunshot wound near Highway 2 in Sultan, Wash. on the night of Dec. 15 and the Snohomish County Sheriff's Office is seeking more information about the incident.
The victim, a Bothell man in his late 20’s, was transported to Providence Hospital in Everett, where he was treated and later released.
Sheriff's detectives are investigating the circumstances leading up to the shooting. No suspects have yet to be identified. At this time, it appears that the gunshot wound was not self-inflicted but the result of an assault.
