Inglemoor student stands out at track and field competition

Inglemoor High School senior Ashley Nichols came out on top at Tufts Cupid Challenge for the Bentley University women’s indoor track and field team on Saturday.

Nichols broke the tape in the 3,000 meters with a time of 10:21.54, a new personal best by more than seven seconds, and good for a winning margin of 1.28 seconds.

It put her at fifth on the Northeast-10 performance list and moved her from ninth to fifth on Bentley’s all-time list.
