Jim Rice selected as the next president of Washington Music Educators Association

Inglemoor High School's director of orchestras and jazz ensembles, Jim Rice has been elected the next president of the Washington Music Educators Association, which will begin in June of 2016.

Rice, an avid proponent of a well-balanced music program, has directed outstanding groups, earning consistent superior or first place ratings in all areas of instrumental music performance, including concert, jazz, marching and small ensembles in each school music program in which he has taught.  He is a summa cum laude graduate of Central Washington University with a bachelors of arts in music education, and has earned a masters in music from the University of Washington.
