City of Kenmore to host community workshop

The city of Kenmore is incorporating a public square or "town green" in the heart of downtown Kenmore.

This public gathering space is intended to help create a sense of place and downtown identity for residents. The city will host the first of three community workshops from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. July 23 at the Kenmore City Hall, located at 18120 68th Ave. NE. They are seeking the public's input on possible uses, features and design. The town green is planned to be constructed on the north side of NE 181st St., near the northwest corner of NE 181st St. and 68th Ave. NE.
